PartitionGuru Free 4.9.1 Latest Version Free Download

Image result for PartitionGuru Free 4.9.1
Eassos PartitionGuru is a basic partition manager with a particular focus on data recovery.
The program has options to create, format, hide or delete partitions, for instance, but it's not so great at manipulating them later. There's an option to resize a partition, for instance, but you can't move space from one partition to another, or convert its type.
PartitionGuru has plenty of useful features elsewhere, though. You can protect your system by backing up a drive's partition table, ready for easy restoration later, while there are options to clone an individual partition or an entire hard drive.
And if things still go wrong then there are options to recover individual files or entire partitions.
If you need more power, though, it may also be worth considering PartitionGuru Professional ($69.95), which is much more capable. It can recover files on discs with non 512-byte sector sizes, for instance; supports GPT discs greater than 2TB in size; can recover data and partitions on USB, GPT, and virtual disks, and has many other more advanced features (the Eassos site has the full list).

Version 4.9.0.334 adds these new features (see changelog for more):
- Add "Apply" button to "Construct Virtual RAID" window so that program can show result in time after changing parameters.
- Improve speed to read files for virtual RAID.
- The main interface is able to show configuration information of virtual RAID.
Verdict:
The free version of PartitionGuru has a lot of restrictions, but if the recovery functions work on your system then it could be very useful.

Smart Defrag 2 Latest version 5.3.0.976 Free Download

Defragmenting your hard drive can make a real and significant difference to your PCs performance. So it's a pity that Windows' own defrag tool is slow, short on features and has a poor interface, especially in Vista. Fortunately there are plenty of free alternatives around, and IObit Smart Defrag is one of the best.
The program has a variety of defrag strategies, for instance. You're able to defragment files alone, defrag and compact free hard drive space, or use a "deep optimise" mode to reorganise your hard drive files for the best possible speeds. All work quickly and efficiently.
You're able to launch any of these defrag options on demand, on a schedule, or even in the background after your PC has been idle for a few minutes. We wondered if this meant the program would compromise the performance of other applications, but this really isn't the case. Smart Defrag needs less than 15MB of RAM, doesn't fire up until your system has been idle for 5 minutes, and stops as soon as other applications become active again, so it never got in our way. All you'll notice is an all-round speed boost as Smart Defrag fixes any defrag issues automatically, before they become too serious.

Smart Defrag also includes a "Boot Time Defrag" technology which allows you to defrag files during the system boot process - these are files that cannot be defragged or are not safe to move after Windows is running.
What's new in 5.3?
+ Fully compatible with Windows 10 Redstone
+ Improved defrag engine for more efficient defragmentation
+ Improved the notification process for better user experience
+ Optimized Auto Analyze for more intelligent analysis and more accurate result
+ Optimized feedback process to increase the success rate of sending feedback
* Fixed known bug
Verdict:
Fast, efficient defrag tool that ensures your system is always running at its optimum performance.
